Moving Again!

Hello! We’ve been posting this in email updates, to social media, and even already in our store notice popup so it may be old new at this point, but I figured I’d better splash it on the front page as well. We are moving again this month, and this time it’s a big one (really, this is like the slightly delayed “part 2” of the first move).

Because of this, we will be shutting down the webshop after August 12th. If the webshop remains active and online, then any orders placed after the 12th should be assumed will not be shipping out until after we are ready to resume activity, presumptively sometime late September. Because of that, we would like to request that any orders you want shipped out now before we move should be placed as soon as possible. Also note: If you placed an order previously, or a preorder, and all the books in the order are available to ship, then the upcoming move should not affect your order. Our goal is to ship out all outstanding orders that are able to be shipped, before we move.

We will be moving inventory with us as well, on to a new facility in the US Midwest! We’ve loved keeping our home in the Pacific Northwest. Glacier Bay was first started in 2019/2020 as a tiny operation, working out of the office of our modest apartment – and much to my chagrin, eventually expanding to make the front room our honorary miniature warehouse space. But it’s time to try something new, and take root in a new location.

November 5th 11 am- 6 pm @ Fisher Pavilion

We will continue to post updates, and operate in the background although operations will be slower during the move. Please expect delays in email communication, etc.
